The Last Teleprompter · Last updated: May 28, 2026

The Last Teleprompter does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. The app has no servers and makes no network requests with your content. Everything happens on your device.

Permissions the app requests, and why

  • Camera — to record the video you choose to record. Frames are written only to the video file you create.
  • Microphone — to record audio together with your video.
  • Speech Recognition — to follow your place in your script while you read (“Voice Follow”). Recognition runs entirely on-device; your audio is never sent to Apple or anyone else for this purpose.
  • Photo Library (Add Only) — to save your finished recordings to your own photo library. The app does not read your existing photos or videos.

You can grant or revoke any of these at any time in the iOS Settings app. If you decline Photo Library access, recordings are instead saved into the app’s own Documents folder, which you can access via the Files app.

Your content stays yours

Your scripts and recordings live only on your device (and in your Photos or Files, where you saved them). They are never uploaded to us or any third party. If you choose to share a recording using the iOS share sheet, that action — and whatever app or service you share it to — is entirely under your control and governed by that service’s own privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads, in-app purchases, social features, or external links.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
